1. If you were the maker of your destiny, would you be able to choose faith in God on your own? Why or why not? Support your answer with scripture. 
2. Paul Washer stated, “When a man gets saved, he gets saved from God. The justice of God was coming for you. God saved you from Himself, God saved you for Himself, and God saved you by Himself.” Explain what is meant by this quote.
3. (For older children) Some claim that monergism is not true of Christian salvation. They argue that salvation is something man  contributes to through his own free will. This is synergism, which means more than one party works together in  salvation. Read Ezekiel 37: 1-11, Psalm 14 and then Ephesians 2:1-10. Do these verses indicate monergism or synergism? Why or why not?
